Yao Wang received her PhD in human nutrition at Virginia Tech, where she investigated the effect of naturally occurring polyphenols on Type 2 diabetes and obesity. She joined Bhushan Lab in January 2020, and currently studies the immune surveillance of senescent cells in the mouse models of obesity and breast cancer.
