Shabrina Amirruddin, PhD

I am interested in using human stem cells to understand diabetes pathophysiology. I completed my PhD at IMCB, A*STAR and the National University of Singapore under the supervision of Dr Adrian Teo and Prof Lee Kok Onn, and my work was focused on identifying mechanisms underlying neonatal diabetes. I hope that my research will help to bring about better treatment options for diabetes. Prior to this, I obtained my BSc from Nanyang Technological University. Outside of research, I enjoy reading, walking, and playing sudoku.
