Ph.D. Student, DSCB Program, Discovery Fellow

I am currently interested in understanding how the human fetal pancreas forms during development and how we can utilize that knowledge to treat patients with Type I and Type II Diabetes. My previous work involved studying opsin proteins in cyanobacteria, as well as establishing an organoid model of human adult lung epithelia. Outside of lab I like to get out in nature to run, read and play rugby.
