I am interested in improving the function of beta-like cells engineered from human embryonic stem cells. My previous work involved measuring retinal vessel caliber from fundus photographs to discover a link between vasculature and the development of Age Related Macular Degeneration. Outside of the lab I like to weight lift, dance, go dog walking, and explore nature.
