I am currently interested in understanding the structure of the human islet to better understand the importance of cells’ niche for proper tissue function and how we can apply this knowledge to generate better functioning human engineered islets that can hopefully be used to treat Type 1 Diabetes. Outside of the lab, I like to hang out with my dog, explore new parks, and watch true crime shows.
