I completed my master’s degree at UC Berkeley. My previous research has focused on metabolism and cellular physiology, with experience spanning both in vivo and cell-based studies. During my undergraduate research in Atlanta, I studied obesity and adipose tissue biology, including sympathetic regulation of adipose tissue, mouse metabolic phenotyping. I also gained experience with mammalian cell culture, cellular signaling, and single-cell RNA sequencing analysis. I am now an Assistant Specialist in the Sneddon Lab, where I am excited to expand my research into pancreatic and beta-cell biology, stem-cell-derived islets, and regenerative medicine. Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places and restaurants, and trying different foods.
