Swikriti Shrestha, PhD

Swikriti Shrestha earned her PhD from Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where her graduate research centered on pancreatic alpha cell biology and diabetes modeling in human stem cell-derived pancreatic alpha cells.
At the Parent Lab, she is dedicated to advancing stem cell biology and disease modeling to address the underlying cause of Type 1 Diabetes. Her research focuses on re-education of T-cells through stem cell-derived thymic epithelial cells to prevent and reverse autoimmunity.
