Ying Liu

Ying holds a master’s degree and brings extensive experience in in vivo research, including rodent colony management, handling, and surgical procedures. She completed the hands-on Rodent Anesthesia and Surgical Principles course at UCSF and received specialized training in the Tang and Parent Labs. Her surgical expertise includes kidney capsule transplantation, intrasplenic injection, pancreatic perfusion, insulin pellet implantation, unilateral nephrectomy, and dehiscence repair. Outside the lab, she enjoys playing piano, hiking, playing Go, and fishing with her family.
