Xinkai Yao

I am fascinated by the complexity of signalling pathways and morphology change during development and would like to learn more about the methods of inducing stem cells into a certain type of cell fate and apply them to clinical use. I am particularly interested in the transcriptomic regulation of hESCs development into pancreatic beta cells. Outside lab, I like music, traveling and jogging while exploring the city.
