Assistant Specialist

I completed my BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017 at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. During my MSc in Drug Innovation at Utrecht University, my interest in aging research developed through my internship at the Princess Máxima Center of Pediatric Oncology, Utrecht, The Netherlands, where I investigated the effects of DNA-damage accumulation on the unfolded protein response in aging. My growing enthusiasm for aging research was confirmed during my internship at Stanford University in the USA, where I studied the effects of manipulation of lipid remodeling pathways on the function of neural stem cells in aging. Shortly after completing my MSc degree, I joined the Bhushan lab in February 2021 to explore cell senescence and immune surveillance in aging.
